ESdat is pleased to announce the release of its redesigned Field Portal and Field App, bringing a refreshed interface and several long-requested capability upgrades to environmental field data collection.
The update has been designed to make fieldwork simpler, more informative, and easier to navigate—while retaining the familiar concepts and workflows existing ESdat users already know.
Ohio environmental professionals should now use the Voluntary Action Program standards that took effect on 16 February 2025.
The update revised Ohio Administrative Code Rule 3745-300-08 and its chemical-specific tables. It replaced the previous version, which had been effective since 17 October 2019. The standards apply to voluntary investigations and cleanups involving hazardous substances or petroleum releases.
Learn when and why background concentrations are used, how defensible trigger levels are established, and how ESdat will support background-aware exceedance flagging.
ESdat is introducing support for site background concentrations so users can incorporate this context when calculating trigger levels and flagging exceedances.
Manage environmental monitoring data, compare results against regulatory standards, identify exceedances, and produce clear, defensible compliance reports with ESdat.
ESdat brings laboratory results, field observations, logger data, environmental standards, maps, graphs, and reports together in one browser-based system.
