CleanUp Conference 2026 set to bring the remediation community together in Adelaide

Environmental professionals will gather at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 13–17 September 2026 for CleanUp Conference 2026 and the 5th International PFAS Symposium, bringing together expertise in contaminated site assessment, management and remediation.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary and 11th conference, CleanUp will connect researchers, consultants, industry representatives, government officials and regulators from Australia and overseas. The event offers an opportunity to explore emerging research, exchange practical experience and build connections across the environmental sector. Conference details

The main conference runs from Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 September, featuring plenary presentations, scientific and industry sessions, and networking in the exhibition area. Dedicated PFAS symposium sessions are scheduled for 14–15 September, providing a focus for delegates working with these contaminants.

Workshops and welcome drinks open the event on Sunday 13 September, while a technical tour and a further workshop are scheduled for Thursday 17 September. The conference gala dinner will take place on Tuesday 15 September at the Adelaide Convention Centre. View the program

For attendees looking to strengthen their practical skills, workshop topics include PFAS remediation and risk management, artificial intelligence for environmental data interpretation, geological methods for predicting contamination pathways, and PFAS modelling in soil and groundwater.
